Mirvac Hoxton Park Skylight Roof Replacement

A roofing replacement project split over 2 large-scale and busy distribution warehouses with a combined footprint of 120, 000 sqm. IPG worked closely with Landlord, Tenant, and other stakeholders to ensure that 2 internationally operating distribution centres for household name retailers were able to maintain their busy operations without any period of shutdown. Works were completed outside of business hours over the course of 14 weeks, and we employed several innovative measures to further ensure that the only indication of our presence was the product: • With limited free space on the ground, we stored all of our materials on the roofs of the warehouses – working with an engineer to ensure we were protected against both wind and structural collapse. • 4* 130 tonne mobile crane lifts were undertaken to ensure all materials were safely lifted into the correct storage location • With stringent security protocol inside bonded warehouses – external scaffolding was erected to provide access keeping things running smoothly, while we worked closely with all stakeholders to ensure that the WHS and security policies of each tranche of stakeholder was adhered to.

With a total project value over $1m, IPG provided succinct completion documentation, down to the last screw – to ensure that the LL can refer over the lifecycle of the replaced products to monitor degradation next to busy transport routes. 7000 photos were provided in line with client requirements with the attention to detail by site and project staff being second to none.

IPG are happy to confirm we demobilized from site, leaving both Landlords and tenants completely happy with the end result.
